Eight yachts competed at Reedham Regatta, but Jessie May,
May and Sabrina 2 did not race at Cantley in
July, putting them out of the running for the Diamond Jubilee Trophy and
leaving just five contenders in the
competition. All five raced at the final regatta in the
series, the Autumn Open at Cantley, with the winner not being decided until the
final race of the series.
Each yacht had to count at least one result from each
regatta - these are shown in red below for the qualifiers. Results in blue
were also counted, with numbers in black being discards.
The Autumn results for Jessie May, May and Sabrina 2 are
included to indicate how they might have done, had they been free to race at the
July Cantley Regatta.
Well done to everyone who qualified, and congratulations
to Sally on their closely fought win.
