  First May Cruise, 2007 As is often the case, the Yare Sailing Club and the Green Wyvern Yachting Club cruises rapidly merged into one. After a scattered start and an revised lunchtime destination, the joint fleet ended up at Loddon. Here they were joined by a number of others in the Angel for a most enjoyable fish and chip supper, courtesy of the local chippie.

On Sunday, advantage was taken of the lunchtime high tide to take the fleet into Rockland, which was found to be very welcoming, before dropping back to Cantley for the night. Here the cruise ended as the unrelenting drizzle on Monday was most uninviting. Typical British bank holiday weather! The committee will, of course, order better weather for the next cruise...
