A new venue was visited this year for our annual rigging out supper, namely East Hills Bistro at Brundall.  Those arriving early took advantage of the last of the warm day to enjoy pre-prandial drinks on the balcony, before moving inside to part-take of a most pleasant meal.

Jan Nudd had compiled a forty question quiz, which kept people entertained throughout the evening, as their wracked their brains to dredge out Broads-related knowledge.  Some questions, such as Who wrote Coot Club, were easy, but others were more taxing and it is uncertain whether anyone knew what kind of creature Esox lucius is.

The team headed up by Anthony Knights and Denis Kilner came out top, with a creditable 30 points, three ahead of the runners up.  Chocolate eggs all round as prizes and the conclusion of another enjoyable event.
