New members are always welcome and all owners or part-owners of River Cruiser Class yachts are eligible to join, as is anyone else with an interest in the sailing or maintenance of such yachts.

Each year the club runs a varied programme, consisting of both racing and social events. As well as the flagship Breydon Regatta, several other weekend regattas and river races are held, mostly on the River Yare, which offers some superb reaches for competitive sailing. Both Open and Club trophies are on offer, with a club championship also running across the season. Cruises in company are popular too and offer a chance to get together with like-minded people in a convivial atmosphere.
